Meet our Vice President of Student Affairs
![]() Rev. Nathaniel E. Pearce | | Dr. Nathaniel Ephraim Pearce, the youngest of three children, was raised in Kingston, Jamaica. His mother came to know Christ as her Savior while pregnant with him, and dedicated the remainder of her life to serving Christ and raising her children in a Christian home. Nathaniel came to know the Lord as his personal Savior at the age of 7. He rededicated his life to the Lord on January 7, 1990, was baptized later that year, and has since followed the Lord. Professor Pearce’s extensive theological training has earned him the following degrees: Associate of Divinity (Midland Bible Institute, Jamaica, 1998), Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (Carver Bible College, Atlanta, GA, 2000), Master of Divinity (2004), M.A. in Biblical Counseling (2004), and Master of Theology (2006) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS), Wake Forest, NC. He recently received a Doctor of Ministry degree from SEBTS. Read more about this accomplishment here. Rev. Pearce's focus is on leadership. His goal is simply to know Christ and to make Him known to the peoples of the world (see Ezra 7:10; Acts 1:8; Phil. 3:8-10). He intends on accomplishing this through the teaching and preaching of the Word of God, and by playing a part in preparing God-called women and men for the ministry to which God has called them. Rev. Pearce is married to his best friend and partner in ministry,
Cheryl (also from Jamaica). Their union has been blessed with two
beautiful daughters: Ruth-Ann Abigail (8) and Hannah Grace (5). |
