Prayer, Praise, and Testimonies

We Are A Praying Campus

The Administration, Faculty, and Students of New Life Theological Seminary believe that God hears us when we call out to Him in prayer, and that He answers. Prayer is an essential part of our relationship with God - a vital link that we sometimes neglect. Some avoid prayer thinking they are not good enough. None of us are good enough - that is why Christ died for us. Some of us say that we don't know how. Romans 8:26 says, "In the same way the Spirit also joins to help in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with unspoken groanings" (HCSB).

Jesus says in Luke 11:9 to ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. James also tells us, "Is anyone among you sick? He should call for the elders of the church, and they should pray over him after anointing him with olive oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The intense prayer of the righteous is very powerful." (James 5:14-16, HCSB).

Are you a born again Christian? Then YOU are righteous! Jesus took your sins, and God's righteousness was imputed to you when you believed and you were saved (Rom. 3:21-26). Are you an unbeliever, then stop, right now, and ask Jesus to become Lord and Savior of your life. And each and every one of us, each and every day, should then pray...
