Student Affairs Assistant
The department of Student Affairs seeks an assistant to the Vice President of Student Affairs. This is a part-time Federal Work Study position for 12 hours per week for fifty (50) weeks, and will be paying $9 per hour. The successful candidate for Student Affairs Assistant (SAA) will meet the following requirements: (1) must be a professing and committed Christian; (2) must qualify for the Federal Work Study program; (3) must be a degree seeking undergraduate student at NLTS; (4) must maintain a minimum of half-time enrollment while serving as SAA; (5) must embrace the institution’s Doctrinal Statement, Mission, Purpose and Values, and Code of Conduct; (6) must have a professional and "can do" attitude; (7) proficient in Microsoft Office software 2007 or later versions; (8) a minimum typing skill of 35 words per minute; (9) be emotionally, mentally, and physical unencumbered from all ailments; (10) be physically capable of bending, lifting and moving objects of at least 25 lbs; (11) must be able to work independently and yet efficiently; (12) must be willing to receive directives and effectively execute assigned task; and (13) must be available Tuesdays to assist with the setting up and disassembling of electronic/media system for chapel.
